“You didn’t give me any time to think, though,” muttered Jasper with great frustration. “I’m not ready yet.”

I’m Bobby Froop, resident writer, documenting the Adventures of Jasper Coit. It was a chilly evening in Bishop, California when I gave the instruction that I was going to write down whatever Jasper said–fact or fiction.

“Well, I have a question, before we get started. Why is there a big hole in this pillow?”

Jasper is always running into distractions. Who cares about pillows at a time like this? We’re hunting down fun facts!

“My dad keeps interrupting.”

InterrupTION would be more appropriate for our -tion heavy story.

“I had to go to the bathroom but there was construction in the bathroom. They were painting the walls and taking the paper off the windows.”

We’re stationed at an RV park right now.

“It’s sunny outside. You should put some lotion on so you don’t get a sunburn.”

It really was sunny out earlier. Right now it’s dark, and cold. And windy!

“I didn’t know which direction to go to get to Mexico. I used a map to find out. We’re in California at the RV Park, just like we said, and then we go south. We might see a surf boarder on our drive next to the beach. Then we’ll be in Baja. The J in Baja is always silent. I’m in school right now, that’s why I’m spelling this.”

Now it’s time to use the dictionary to make sure this blog is spelled correctly. And then, bedtime!
